COOK 18 – 2.5yrs

We’ll be taking a culinary trip to France today as we create a sweet strawberry galette with a cacao nib mascarpone to dollop on the top! We will macerate our super succulent strawberries before mixing, rolling and shaping our own fabulously flaky pastry, ready to be filled with fruity goodness.
English strawberries come into season at the end of May, and we will all have the chance to taste-test their incredible flavour. More than just sweet and delicious, strawberries also contain vitamin C and magnesium (great for keeping bones strong) and vitamin B9 (extremely important for people who still have growing to do).
